Your adventure begins in the early morning at 6:00 a.m., when your guide picks you up for a short ride to the airport. By 8:00 a.m., you’re airborne, watching the Amazon stretch endlessly below on your hour-long flight to Tefé—a stunning preview of what’s to come.
Arriving around 9:00 a.m., you’ll have time to settle in, unpack, and refresh. By noon, the journey continues with a visit to the lively local market, where you’ll savor lunch among vibrant colors, aromas, and sounds—a true taste of Amazonian life.
In the afternoon, we take to the river, heading upstream to the community of Missão. Here, you’ll gain insight into the rich history of the Amazon and its indigenous people, an experience that offers rare cultural depth.
Returning to Tefé in the late afternoon, the pace slows with a peaceful birdwatching session as the day fades. After a well-earned dinner, you’ll retreat to your hotel for a night of rest, recharging for the adventures that await.

Day two dawns with another early start, as you and your guides board a speedboat at 6:00 a.m., setting out on the last leg of the journey to Maraã. By noon, you’ll arrive, stepping ashore to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore Maraã and begin learning about the local indigenous culture, with your guides providing fascinating insights.
In the early afternoon, your journey takes you deeper into the Amazon as you board a larger speedboat, accompanied by smaller canoes for an immersive, upriver journey to Lago Parica. The five-hour trip is broken up with stops to fish for lunch—a hands-on experience that brings you closer to life on the river.
After lunch, you continue along the river, reaching the area known as Aldeio Patawa by late afternoon. Disembarking, you’ll meet the indigenous Patawa people of Lake Parica, explore their village, and enjoy conversations with the help of your guides. As night falls, you’ll share a meal with the community and settle in for a memorable overnight stay in the village.

On day three, you’ll wake up with the village at 7:00 a.m., sharing a warm, traditional breakfast with the local families. Afterward, the morning unfolds at a relaxed pace, giving you the chance to deepen connections with the villagers. With your guides assisting in translation, you’ll meet each family, gaining insights into their daily routines and customs.
The rest of the day invites you to explore the village and immerse yourself in the rhythms of Amazonian life. For both lunch and dinner, you’ll head to the river to fish, learning the art of net fishing from the locals. With each catch, you’ll discover the unique flavors of Amazonian fish, experiencing firsthand how the river nourishes and sustains village life.
As night falls, dinner is a cozy affair around the campfire, where stories are shared, and you’ll hear about life in the Amazon—so different from the fast-paced, technology-driven world. Later, the adventure continues with a nighttime excursion to spot the elusive black caiman in its natural habitat, adding a thrilling close to your day before returning to the village for a restful night.

On the fourth day, your morning begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shared breakfast among the villagers. Afterward, preparations are made for a deeper journey into the Amazon, where you’ll visit José and his wife, who live far from the village in the heart of the jungle. Welcoming you into their home, José will share stories of life in the depths of the Amazon, and you’ll have the chance to tour his plantation, gaining insight into how he and his family thrive in this remote environment.
After a homemade lunch with José, the adventure continues as you paddle in small canoes even deeper into the jungle, where piranha fishing and wildlife sightings await. As the day draws to a close, you’ll set up camp for the night, guided by experts who’ll teach you to create a secure, comfortable site. This evening offers hands-on lessons in spearfishing and identifying unique Amazonian plants and animals—a truly immersive experience as you fall asleep surrounded by the sounds of the jungle.

Here, the environment reveals fresh sights and sounds, distinct from the deeper jungle, offering a broader view of Amazonian life. Your guides will highlight the plants, trees, and animals that sustain the indigenous people, answering your questions and sharing fascinating insights into this diverse landscape.

By 11:00 a.m., you’ll board a spacious, comfortable boat, settling in for the scenic return journey from Maraã to Manaus. This final stretch offers a peaceful moment to reflect on your Amazon adventure, carrying memories of the rainforest back with you.
