Your adventure begins with an 8:00 a.m. hotel pickup, followed by a journey to Seasa Port, where you’ll board a speedboat to cross the Amazon River. Along the way, the captain will stop at the Meeting of the Waters, a mesmerizing spot where the dark Rio Negro and sandy Rio Solimões flow side by side without mixing. This natural wonder provides a perfect photo opportunity, accompanied by fascinating information about the phenomenon.
After crossing the Rio Solimões, you’ll reach the town of Careiro da Várzea, where a kombi van will take you down the BR319 highway to the Mamori area. From there, a final speedboat ride takes you deeper into the jungle, arriving at the lodge by 11:30 a.m. After a quick orientation, lunch will be served at noon, followed by a relaxing break where you can explore the lodge, swim in the Amazon River, or simply soak in the surroundings.
Around 2:00 p.m., you’ll set out in traditional wooden canoes for wildlife spotting, with a chance to see sloths, monkeys, and river dolphins, or botos, gliding through the water. Later, you’ll get the thrill of piranha fishing; if you’re up for it, your catch can even be prepared for dinner!
As the day winds down, you’ll witness the Amazon’s breathtaking sunset before returning to the lodge by 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m., offering a peaceful moment to reflect on the day. But the adventure continues—after dinner, you’ll head out for a night excursion to search for the wild caiman. Under the guidance of an expert, you’ll have an up-close encounter with this ancient creature before it’s safely released back into the water.
Finally, you’ll return to the lodge to rest, surrounded by the sounds of the Amazon, ready for another day of exploration.
The day begins at 5:30 a.m. with a stunning Amazonian sunrise, a peaceful start to your final day in the jungle. After enjoying the sunrise, you’ll return to the lodge for a traditional breakfast at 7:00 a.m., savoring the local flavors and preparing for a memorable morning.
At 8:00 a.m., a short drive will bring you to the trailhead for a jungle trek. From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., you’ll hike through the heart of the Amazon, where your guide will introduce you to the rich flora and fauna, including medicinal trees, vines, and plants. This trek offers a chance to see native wildlife up close—perhaps monkeys, sloths, snakes, tarantulas, dart frogs, and other fascinating creatures that inhabit this ecosystem.
Returning to the lodge by noon, you’ll enjoy a hearty lunch, followed by time to pack and prepare for the journey back. At 2:00 p.m., you’ll begin the return trip to Manaus, retracing your route through the Amazon’s iconic waters. By 4:00 p.m., you’ll arrive at Seasa Port, where a driver will be ready to take you back to your hotel, marking the end of a truly unforgettable Amazon adventure.

You will be staying in a great jungle lodge in Maçarico. All rooms have air condition and private bathroom with necessary amenities. On the property there is Wi-Fi, lounge areas with TV, and a bar where you can relax and have a drink. Meals will be served in the restaurant. All meals are included in the price. You only pay extra for soda, beer or alcohol.
