Swimming With Dolphins (Private Day Tour)

Hotel Pick Up

• 9:00 a.m.: Depart from your hotel in Manaus. We begin with a tour of Mercado Adolpho Lisboa Port, exploring regional food and delicacies.
• Travel by private speedboat up the Rio Negro to the Meeting of the Waters. Our guide will explain this fascinating natural phenomenon.

Floating House

• Journey up the Solimões River to a floating house. Witness the mighty Pirarucu (Arapaima gigas), one of the world’s largest freshwater fish, and have the chance to feed it.
• Explore local handicrafts and observe wildlife like sloths, snakes, and alligators. (Feeding the Pirarucu is optional and conducted with the fish’s welfare in mind.)

Parque do Janauary

• Continue up the Solimões River to Parque Ecológico Janauary. Here, observe wild monkeys, the stunning Vitória-Régia (giant water lilies), and the majestic Samaúma tree.

Lunch

• Enjoy a regional lunch from noon to 1:00 p.m., prepared by Amazon rainforest natives. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions in advance.

Swimming with Dolphins

• After lunch, head to the Rio Negro for the main event: swimming with the pink river dolphins. These wild but friendly dolphins have adapted to human interaction without captivity or mistreatment.

Indigenous Tribe Visit

• Conclude your adventure with a visit to an indigenous tribe in the upper Rio Negro basin. Witness a ritual dance, learn about their culture, and taste exotic foods.
